The Russian Federation has received financing in the amount of US$ 60,000,000 equivalent from the World Bank toward the cost of the Second National Hydromet Modernization Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds to payments for goods, works, related services and consulting services to be procured under this project. This project will be jointly financed by the Russian Federation.
The project will include the following components:

| B.1.e | Supply of stationary calibration laboratories |
| B.2 | Improvement of the upper air observation network |

| B.2.c | Supply and installation of profilers – tools for remote profiling of the atmosphere boundary layer temperature |
